Testimonial

As Dodgey heads off for a spell I just wanted to send you a short message of thanks for everything you have done to date organising visits, providing updates and being around on race days etc. Its great to get the website updates and audios and to be kept in the loop. This is my first dabble in a race horse and I'm having a great time and really enjoying it. Hopefully when Dodgey returns he will be bigger and better than ever and we can really have some fun.

Over the years my friends and I have raced several horses with various trainers & syndicators. We find Michael & Paul of Adrenaline Thoroughbreds easily the best we have used. The communication & willingness to accommodate our requests are second to none.

Rod Warren, Racehorse Owner

I would not hesitate to recommend Adrenaline Thoroughbreds to anyone interested in owning race horses. Adrenaline's web-based Owner's Dashboard is first class. I currently have shares in three horses & watching them evolve into elite race horses is very rewarding.

Les Ham, Racehorse Owner

Having a horse with Adrenaline has to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have horses with others as well but the updates I receive from Michael and Paul set them apart. I feel like I am kept in the loop with every single aspect of my horses, even when they are spelling. Recently Michael even picked me up and drove me to Toowoomba to see my horse spelling.

Adrenaline Thorougbreds has enabled us to take our first exciting step into the world of being a racehorse owner. The whole journey so far has exceeded our expectations – not just because our first horse, Epsilon, has turned out to be a cracker of a horse, but also because we have felt part of the whole experience.

Our Stables and facilities

Adrenaline thoroughbreds have a home ground advantage on the premier race track in Queensland. We stable and train our horses at the Eagle Farm Racecourse in Brisbane where they have all-season access to top-class facilities. During spelling, your horse enjoys the tranquil surrounds in the Darling Downs farming region, an hour-and-a-half west of Brisbane.

Stables

Stables

During training, your horse will be stabled in Chris Munce's complex conveniently adjacent his home and at his father in-law Barry Mitchell’s complex located directly behind Doomben racecourse. Chris has more than 20 stables available in Brisbane, which is centrally located in the Brisbane suburb of Hendra.

Chris has been allocated a 44 stable barn in the new facilities, which are currently being constructed on-course at Eagle Farm. These newly constructed stables will be state of the art and allow our horses the full benefits offered by the redevelopment of the Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Turn a visit to see your horse into a full morning’s indulgence. The stables are conveniently close to the Racecourse Road cafes, luxury shopping and dining at Portside, and the Eagle Farm Markets (on every Sunday).

Training Facilities

Training Facilities

Your horse benefits from training at the most well-resourced racetrack in Queensland. Alongside the benefits of having Chris Munce getting to fully understand your horse from the saddle, leading jockeys including Jim Byrne ride work at Eagle Farm and there are experienced riders on hand to educate your horse and benchmark its progress.

At Eagle Farm, your horse has all-season access to:

•Routine training on the grass tracks.

•Cross-training on the American dirt track and sand track and in the Eagle Farm swimming pool.

•Frequent opportunities to practice barrier starts with grass jump-outs each fortnight and barrier trials every other fortnight.

•Special purpose training (such as grass gallops) at the adjacent Doomben racetrack.

The Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is undertaking upgrades to facilities at both Eagle Farm and Doomben racetracks as part of a $1.2B self-funded development.

Adrenaline horses are rested at Eureka Stud, home of many champion racehorses including recent Gr.1 winners Spirit of Boom, Temple of Boom and Tinto. Founded in 1935 the farm is located on the fertile Darling Downs and has been handed down from one generation to the next.  It features natural and planted pastures, protected higher ground, undulating paddocks with a focus on safety, a creek, and a groundwater bore system to keep the paddocks maintained all year round.
