Testimonial

As Dodgey heads off for a spell I just wanted to send you a short message of thanks for everything you have done to date organising visits, providing updates and being around on race days etc. Its great to get the website updates and audios and to be kept in the loop. This is my first dabble in a race horse and I'm having a great time and really enjoying it. Hopefully when Dodgey returns he will be bigger and better than ever and we can really have some fun.

Scott Wilson, Scott Wilson, Racehorse Owner

Over the years my friends and I have raced several horses with various trainers & syndicators. We find Michael & Paul of Adrenaline Thoroughbreds easily the best we have used. The communication & willingness to accommodate our requests are second to none.

Rod Warren, Racehorse Owner

I would not hesitate to recommend Adrenaline Thoroughbreds to anyone interested in owning race horses. Adrenaline's web-based Owner's Dashboard is first class. I currently have shares in three horses & watching them evolve into elite race horses is very rewarding.

Les Ham, Racehorse Owner

Having a horse with Adrenaline has to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have horses with others as well but the updates I receive from Michael and Paul set them apart. I feel like I am kept in the loop with every single aspect of my horses, even when they are spelling. Recently Michael even picked me up and drove me to Toowoomba to see my horse spelling.

Adrenaline Thorougbreds has enabled us to take our first exciting step into the world of being a racehorse owner. The whole journey so far has exceeded our expectations – not just because our first horse, Epsilon, has turned out to be a cracker of a horse, but also because we have felt part of the whole experience.

Racehorse Ownership

At Adrenaline, we have owned and raced horses for more than 20 years and we want to share the learning and excitement with you.

Being a racehorse owner is a life less ordinary. The drive to work in peak hour traffic is more bearable when you’ve watched the sun rise over Eagle Farm while your horse is working. You look forward to nominations on Mondays for your next Saturday race. Wednesdays are acceptances and you meticulously assess the competition in the form guide.Your chat at the water cooler or on the work site has never been this interesting before!

Owning a racehorse opens up new inside connections to the world of racing. If your horse isn’t racing, another horse of interest is. It might be your horse’s half brother having his first start at Morphettville. Or the runner you beat into second two weeks ago, whose race this Saturday will give you further insight into your horse’s form.

You meet other owners and industry contacts who add colour and depth to everything you thought you ever knew about racing. You own horses that you speak of as fondly as you would an old friend.

They say buying a racehorse is about the thrill of the chase and the spoils of glory. It is. And it’s also so much more than that.

Case study: Fleur and Martyn

Case study: Fleur and Martyn

When Fleur married Martyn in 2012, she achieved World Class Wife status with an inspired gift for her new husband. She bought him a share in a racehorse.

Martyn is a long-time racing fan who, with his father Trevor, enjoys a punt and the occasional day out at the races. Becoming an owner of Epsilon has given him a new perspective on thoroughbred racing.

Fleur is also enjoying having a racehorse in the family. Race days are an opportunity to dress up to meet with friends and other owners, and her two young children are fascinated by the horses.

"What a fantastic half day... I can honestly say I’ve missed the sound of thundering hooves down the home straight! A massive thank you to Michael and Paul for all that they do for the syndicate as manager and breeder experts!" (Facebook post, Eagle Farm Racecourse, 9 February 2013).
